Following advice from the Victorian Government on Tuesday 7 April, Rollins Primary School will be moving to remote and flexible learning from Term 2 (beginning with a pupil-free day).
This is a step all Victorian government schools are taking to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). This means that all students who can learn at home must learn from home. This is a very clear directive from the Victorian Government based on the advice of the Chief Health Officer. Recent health advice has allowed for families to seek another person/family to supervise their child/ren. This has provided a lifeline for those that may have found these circumstances difficult previously.
We will continue to offer limited on-site learning for those students who need to access this, including for students on days when they are not able to be supervised at home and no other arrangements can be made.
The Department’s latest advice on coronavirus can be found at https://www.education.vic.gov.au/coronavirus
It is important that we work together and support each other during this challenging time.
In the meantime, you might find it useful to look at the Department’s Learning from Home website. It provides resources and guidance for teachers and parents and carers. https://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/department/Pages/learningfromhome.aspx

2020 is an exciting time for us all at Rollins as we have been fortunate enough to receive capital funding for a new development to part of our school. Below are some of the drawings of what to expect (colours will vary). Works are expected to be completed by Term 3.
Thank you for visiting our web site.
At Rollins Primary School we provide our children with an innovative learning environment and a caring, nurturing approach to student well-being. We are a medium sized school with excellent facilities and well maintained grounds. Our second campus at nearby Batesford provides an alternative smaller option for students in a beautiful rural setting.
We welcome new enrolments and value parent participation. We have established strong links beyond the school and take great pride in the role that we play in the local community.
I welcome you to visit if you are considering enrolling your children with us. If you wish to pay a visit and see what our school has to offer please feel free to contact us on 5278 3022 during business hours.
