Rollins Primary School provides a high quality educational program for each individual student.  There are many ways you can become involved in your child’s education at Rollins Primary School. Below is a list of some of the ways parents have assisted the school recently. Maybe you would like to contribute in these areas.

  • Accepting nomination for School Council
  • Volunteering to help with Fundraising. Donating items for the Mother’s/Father’s  Day stalls
  • Donating Easter eggs for our big Easter Raffle
  • Assisting at School Sports or Excursions

All parent helpers and volunteers are now required to obtain a Working with Children Check in accordance with Department of Education and Early Childhood Development policy. The Working with Children (WWC) Check creates a mandatory minimum checking standard across Victoria. The WWC Check helps to keep children safe by preventing those who pose a risk to the safety of children from working with them, in either paid or volunteer work. Applications are completed online  then finalised at the post office.  The Working with Children Check is free to parent volunteers.
